I have a 1963 Type 343 Ghia, and It is stuck in first gear, I've replaced the coupler between the shift rod and the transmission. The newly professionally rebuilt transmission has less than 200 miles on it. I can see the shift rod bushing and it appears in place, although I can't see damage to it. Can anyone give me some suggestions?
Thanks
Olen

You may need to adjust the shifter. this is a case of loosening the two bolts at the base of the shifter and then sliding it into a different position, tighten it up again and try it out. It might take a few tries to get it right.
