'Almost' changed to reality and restauration is...'Almost' changed to reality and restauration is under way now, We'll see what we get but the goal at this point is 'club1500'-approved quality. I hope we don't have to cut corners at any spot.
Anyway, body is off and base plate doesn't look too bad, so we'll get at least a daily driver in worst case.

I almost sold half of mine to a fellow VW owner...I almost sold half of mine to a fellow VW owner who doesn't have a T34 and he's too lazy to find one, not so easy here in North. He's also a skilled body guy so I'm sure it will be useful at some point as mine needs some work.
'Almost' as he hasn't even seen the car yet (plenty of pictures though) so I said that no, you have to see it live first.
I have and have had split ownerships before, for a hobby car it makes sense as the cost of keeping it is split and (like in this case) both owners have several hobby cars already: No-one has time to drive all of them all the time.
Cars do not like sitting in store long times, so more driving time is a good thing also for the car.

Then on Saturday I met up with Darin and Peter and purchased a second hand screen, a European rear lens and a couple of other bits.......a 400 mile round trip, but well worth it!
I've looked at the car and I will be making the trip again....soon I hope!
Work will be easing off a little soon, so then it will be all systems go on stripping the car down ready for restoration..........I can't wait"

Need 2 new doors - please let me know if you have any that you would part with for money, or trade for parts (i have a full interior (3 front seats), two T34 specific engines, lots of other bits...
