WHERE DO I FIND M PLATE ON MY 1964 TYPE 34? TO FIND OUT ORIGINAL PAINT COLOR?

t3kg There is no M plate on a Type 34. Go here: www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/info/… for information about 1964 type 34 colors. With a little detective work you should be able to figure out which of the listed colors was the original color for your car. You can also write to VW and get a "birth certificate" that will tell you the original color.

NEED 1964 TYPE 34 PAIR FRONT TURN SIGNALS COMPLETE WITH HOUSING
    INSTRUMENT PANEL GAGES
    BUMPERS
FENDER SIDE MARKERS WITH BULB SOCKET AND LENSE

FRONT WHEEL CYL. (4) AND BRAKE MASTER CYL.

    CAN ANYONE HELP?

t3kg Hi Mark -- The best places to look are the Samba classifieds and eBay, especially German eBay. Also, Carsten Klein adn Jurgen Magdelyns sell used Type 34 parts at www.type34parts.blogspot.de. The brake parts should be available from ISP West.

Hi guys, I am new to the forum. I have a 69 and I am needing the front signal light bulb holders for it. Or I am needing a restorer who can fix the ones I have. They have so much crud in them that the metal is falling apart and is cracked in the back of where the bulb goes. Thanks

Hi all. Just joined. I had a '66 while in Canada in the 1970's and regret selling it. Looking forward to being a member.

Sleeving can save badly pitted cylinder if the body is OK.

Same problem with my -61 bus, pre-64 front brake cylinders are N/A (as Bobnotch noted...

Walter64 Well I ran into to other T34 owners at the VW nationals - Finn and Brad, both with beautiful T34's. I'm envious!
